Honey Bee Gift Bag to hold notecards

If you follow me you'll know that I've been making samplers.

Samplers use 3 x 3 squares and larger 6 1/4 x 3 rectangles.

For the first 10 days in February I'll post a project every day that uses one of these squares or rectangles in a different way (cards, gift card holders, Lindt Bar wrappers and more!)

Today is a small bag that can hold your notecards or Memory and More cards (or your Easel Post it Note cards)

1.           Let’s start with the bag.
2.           Cut 2 pieces of designer paper 6 x 6. Score both with ¾” on the top and bottom and 1” on each of the sides (consider the direction of your paper!)
I used petal pink champagne ribbon here but you could use the Daffodil Delight Ruched ribbon, or white ribbon with gold edges.

Here’s a link showing you how to make this bag.

3.           Decorate your bag with a 3 x 3 sampler square or leave it plain.

If you want a taller bag, don't score 3/4" along the top (you could attach a cuff from a 2nd strip of paper).

All the products (honey bee stamp set and dies, ribbon, punch, ink, dots) are available in my online store (click on the shopping cart) .. except the bee paper which is FREE with a $50 order!  email me with questions MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com

Happy crafting, MaryKate
