Honey Bee Hive Notecard with Gold Embossing

If you follow me you'll know that I've been making samplers.

Samplers use 3 x 3 squares and larger 6 1/4 x 3 rectangles.

For the first 10 days in February I'll post a project every day that uses one of these squares or rectangles in a different way (cards, gift card holders, Lindt Bar wrappers and more!)

Today is a notecard sized card
1.           Let’s start with the 3 x 3 square:  Daffodil Card stock layer is 3 x 3, basic black 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 and designer paper is 2 ¾ x 2 ¾
2.           Stamp the hive and die cut with the matching dies
3.           Die cut 2 bees from the designer  paper
4.           Attach your 3 x 3 onto the front of a notecard (there are 20 cards and 20 envelopes to a pack)
5.           Stamp with versamark and emboss with the gold embossing powder, set with a heat tool
6.           Stamp inside
7.           Decorate your envelope with designer paper

All the products (honey bee stamp set and dies, ribbon, punch, ink, dots) are available in my online store (click on the shopping cart) .. except the bee paper which is FREE with a $50 order!  email me with questions MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com

Happy crafting, MaryKate

  1. Good website! I truly love how it is easy on my eyes it is. I am wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your RSS which may do the trick? Have a great day! ブルーベリー
