Stamping on Tile Coasters with the Gnome Stamp Set

I was part of a fun card class with my teammate Judy using the gnome set. For my project with the Gnomes I shared my clutch bag and these coasters.

.Click here for the clutch bag instructions

For the coasters, here are the supplies and tips:

Stamp with Stazon (Stazon is available in my online store, you can click on the shopping cart)

If you wish to color, use a Stampin Write marker.

Spray with Krylon - available at Amazon in glass or matte.  I like both. I used gloss. I spray and let dry at least 1 hour and then spray a second coat.  Essential to spray outside due to the fumes!

Tile coasters at Home Depot (9 coasters for $4) - search "4x4 tile"

Back of the coaster is a cork adhesive from Amazon - search for "coasters cork back adhesive"

I also created coasters using the High Tide set

Click here to see these coasters

I hope you make some! They are fun, easy, make cute gifts, and are useful!  You can put a hot or cold drink on the coasters.

Happy stamping! MaryKate

Make a traditional Christmas Wreath card with Arrange a Wreath

Simple, fresh, easy to make multiples of, a perfect Christmas card!!

I have short video here on how to make this card.

Click here to see the video

Die cut 2 leafy wreaths – 1 in Just Jade and 1 in Real Red

Die cut the “bud wreath” in silver foil.

Layer these wreaths in red, silver, with Jade on top on a base of 5 x 3 3/4 of whisper white

Add 2 red pointsettia’s with 2 small rhinestones.

Stamp your greeting.

Now tie a bow (I used silver edged ribbon) about 15” for the bow and the 4” that goes over the top of the white and secures on the back.

Attach the 4” of ribbon.

Attach the bow with a glue dot.

Now layer this on real red 5 ¼ x 4, then Just Jade 5 ½ x 4 ¼

And add to a base card 5 ½ x 8 ½

Add a greeting inside the card, and consider stamping on the envelope

All this card needs is a stamp and a handwritten note 😊

This is really a versatile stamp set that can be used year round! I've attached a few images from the Stampin Up concept artists to show you.

And the stamp and die set ... so much to choose from!

I hope you make one, happy stamping MaryKate

How to make a wedding, anniversary, love, or Valentine wreath card with Arrange a Wreath

Super easy to make - instructions and dimensions below, or click here to watch a short video on how to make this card.

This is such a fun versatile stamp and die set that can help you create cards for many occasions.

This one is perfect for a wedding, anniversary, love or Valentine’s day card.  I love the 2 love-birds (or are they turtle doves for Christmas?)

Super easy to make

Top card layer 5 ¼ x 4 in regular whisper white, stamp “happy heart day” in Magenta Madness

Die cut 2 leafy wreaths, put the lower wreath on upside down so there is movement in the wreath.

Layer on the top wreath. Both are cut in Granny Apple Green

Stamp and die cut 2 love birds in Grey Granite, attach to the 2 wreaths

Attach a tulle bow (about 15” of tulle ribbon) with a glue dot

Attach a die cut heart in Magenta Madness with a dimensional.

Attach this to the base layer 8 ½ x 5 ½ thick whisper white

I can imagine making this card with 2 turtle doves, a single bird (a partridge?) and then some golden eggs for Christmas.

I love the Easter Eggs and can easily see this set being used year-round.

Enjoy! I hope you make one! Don’t forget this is a bundle so the dies and stamps are 10% off

How to make an easy Thanksgiving Card with Arrange a Wreath

The catalog was my inspiration for this simple card.

Ok – get your ingredients ready!!

Instructions below or here's a short video to show  you how to make this!

Click here for the short video

Die cut 2 of the “tiny bud” wreaths (not the leafy wreaths!) in Cinnamon Cider

Die cut 1 of the “tiny bud” wreaths in Bumblebee

Stamp the “create” image in Pool Party, stamp the greting in Early Espresso, snip out this shape

Stamp 2 inside flowers in Early Espresso and either die with the matching flower die or use the Bloom punch – you’ll need 4 flowers total, 2 flowers layered on top of each other.

Cut 4” of Bumblebee ribbon

Dimensions and layering

Base layer 8 ½ x 5 ½ folded in half

Add Grey Granite 5 ½ x 4 ¼ embossed with the Brick and Motor Embossing Folder

Add Designer Paper Tasteful Touches 5 ½ x 2 ½

Step by Step

Now add 3 layers of wreaths with the Bumblebee in the middle. I adhered them flat vs using dimensionals.

Add the ribbon to the “crate”, add this to the card with a glue dot under the ribbon and dimensionals under the crate.

Add the flowers

Consider a greeting for the inside

This is a versatile, year round set.  Create wreaths adding various fitting decorative elements (flowers, eggs, hearts, fruit and the like) to match many occasions. You will love how versatile this set is! Create a beautiful project for Christmas, Easter, Valentine's day or send "just because" greetings to everyone you know!

Happy stamping, and don’t forget to check out the new (and vastly improved!) online store, click on my shopping cart!!

IDEAS Blog Hop August Beautiful Friendship

Welcome to our IDEAS blog hop for August 2020. We are 12 international Demonstrators with a 60 page full color tutorial bundle for you.  This month the theme is 3 Cards: Simple, Stepped Up and Special. We will each show you projects with a core design and then stepped up.  As we are international, you'll see that each demonstrator uses different words to describe cards that have levels of "complexity" such as Now and Wow!  (We each have detailed instructions in imperial and metric)

I used Beautiful Friendship. I love simple stamping with the watercolor look that this set offers. I go from #SimpleStamping to using a punch for a stepped up card and then using dies and folders for a special card. I also show you 3 different ideas for packaging:  simple, stepped and special packaging.

All the details, how-to, dim
ensions and tips are in my tutorial. Lots of photos to make it easy to follow along.

Here is our sneak peek collage for the August IDEAS Tutorial Bundle.  Each photo represents one designer's tutorial in our bundle.

I hope you like these projects and the projects from my fellow IDEAS demonstrators.  It's really a great bundle of inspiration for crafters or demonstrators looking for new ideas or workshop ideas.  Keep hopping so you can see all the creativity.   The bundle is about 60 pages of detailed full color instructions with 40+ projects (cards, decor, 3D, and more!)

Would you like a copy of the instructions for these projects to use for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact me at MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com Free to customers who purchase $35, or Free to my team members, or $15 by PayPal.

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember not to share or distribute the printed or electronic copies of these bundles. We have worked hard to provide these exclusive projects for your use. If you know someone that would like to purchase the bundle, please direct them to me to obtain their copy. Thanks for your support.
