Honey Bee Easel Folder

If you follow me you'll know that I've been making samplers.

Samplers use 3 x 3 squares and larger 6 1/4 x 3 rectangles.

For the first 10 days in February I'll post a project every day that uses one of these squares or rectangles in a different way (cards, gift card holders, Lindt Bar wrappers and more!)

Today is a post it note easel.
1.           Let’s start with the 3 x 3 square:  Daffodil Card stock layer is 3 x 3, basic black 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 and designer paper is 2 ¾ x 2 ¾
2.           Die cut a large bee and honeycomb from the designer paper, attach to the front of the square
3.           Die cut an extra small bee.

4.           Attach your 3 x 3 onto a piece of a thick whisper white that is 3 x 4. Stamp a greeting and add a small bee with a dimensional.

5.           Attach this 3 x 4 onto the easel folder, this is cut 3 ½ x 8 ½ and scored at 4 ¼ and 2 1/8. Burnish and fold with a bone folder for a crisp fold. Tip – put adhesive ONLY on the lower edge of the folder so the easel stands up (don’t put adhesive on the back of the 3 x 4 – trust me!)

6.           Add your post it note pad to the front of the easel.

7.           And this small holder can fit into a small Memories and More envelope.

All the products (honey bee stamp set and dies, ink, dots) are available in my online store (click on the shopping cart) .. except the bee paper which is FREE with a $50 order!  email me with questions MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com

Happy crafting, MaryKate
