Snowman decor

Isn't this fun 3D decor?  I love this snowman bundle with the stamp set and punch!

My friend Kelley Holmes made this for me.  So cute!!

I love how she cut out the snowman... the cut hat and can you see the snowflakes that are behind the window sheet??

The paper is really fun.  December 3rd the closeout sale begins and almost all of the holiday catalog will  be part of the closeout sale. We'll get the details by December 2nd and I'll post here first thing December 3rd.  I bet this paper will be the first to sell out!!

Enjoy the season, happy crafting MaryKate

Poppies.... love the new Mini Catalog

I'll be mailing out the new catalog in early December (as soon as I can order them!)

It's all about poppies (kidding, there are a lot of fun new fresh sets and pretty paper).  However I love this poppy paper. I made a big set of cards using this paper (some to mail, some to swap).  I cut the paper 5 1/2 x 4 and got 2 cards.  With the 1" left, I cut it 1/2 x 4 and put this at the bottom of the paper.

The new punch on the left is called Label me Lovely... and the stamp set has a TON of great greetings plus a cute font.  I added some of the matching sequins.  On the right I just stamped the Congratulations and added it with dimensionals. It's for a team mate who promoted!!

Would you like to pre-order from the catalog?  We can do so December 3rd.  Also happening Dec 3 is the start of the holiday "close out" sales.  To pre-order you choose the Starter Kit ($99 plus tax, free shipping) and select $125 of anything.  No further obligations.   As a demonstrator (by purchasing the kit) you get 20% off everything (sort of like having a Sam's Card or a CostcoCard!)

email me MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com if you have any questions.  We have a great group of crafters who love their discount, and love being part of a fun group with free paper challenges, discounted paper shares, free monthly bundle of tutorials and more!!

Paper Pumpkin Nov 2019

What did you all think of the November Paper Pumpkin??

Normally I do a video showing you some of the kit going together and then alternatives (I do this on my Facebook page, email me if you need details MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com) except this month I was in Florida and my Paper Pumpkin got shipped to Maine!

Here's the official Stampin Up Video..cute tags.. which I will make but I think I'll use some notecards for the last of my holiday cards!

Don't forget, if you'like a Paper Pumpkin you need to subscribe by the 10th of the month - available in my online store.  Happy creating, MaryKate

Christmas Tree Punch Gift Card Holders

These are quick to make and a nice way to "pretty up" a gift card.

I used the Christmas Tree punch to create the trees.  The texture on the starburst is made by running the gold paper through the Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing folder.

The paper is the stunning plaid in our Holiday catalog.

I also made some gift card holders in Poppy Parade.

Here's the "how to"

You can make 2 from a single sheet of cardstock.

Your paper is 4 ¼ wide by 9 ¾ long, scored at 1 ¾, 4 ¾, 5 ¾, 6 ¾.

Fold on the score lines and then with your trimmer cut out ¼ x 3 ¾ to make a hole. Or use your classic label punch, punch twice along the inside edge so you have a place for your gift card holder.  Below the hole, secure with tear n tape or liquid glue.

Can you see how the gift card fits in nicely?

Now make a belly band and decorate the front.  A Christmas Tree, a Moose.. so many options!

All these fun punches are in my online store.

Cute Mug Cakes for a Craft Fair

A very busy few weeks - craft fairs, moving to FL, celebrating at OnStage.. well I have a bunch of projects and ideas for you that I've been collecting!

This one is a mug cake.  Have you seen these single serve mug cakes made by Duncan Hines and others??

I wrapped them in poppy parade cardstock (4 1/4 x 11) just wrapped around the cake, then punched 2 holes at the top, thread the ribbon through the front then the back and pushed the cake down so the ribbon was wrapped around the cake.  Tied a bow, inserted a tasting spoon (available anyway eg Dollar Store, Amazon, etc) and decorated the front.

These were my best seller at my recent craft fair!

I used the Cup of Cheer dies and stamps - I've used these a lot of holiday, birthday and for hello's.  They work well in pumpkin pie and melon mambo for a Dunkin Donut look or Garden Green for Starbucks.  Of course these stamps and dies are in my online store, just click on the cart.

I have an instruction set, so if you'd like it just email me and it's yours.  MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com
