I hosted a team event prior to our Stampin Up OnTour and provided a packet of goodies and some paper. We each made 3 cards and a quick card holder. The theme was "classic" layouts where the patterned paper does the work for you! Here's the projects and below I've put in the dimensions and some photo tips. I hope you make a set of cards!!

Solid base 4 x 4 and 1 x 4

Card holder
Here’s a fun
folder for you to make for your cards.
This card holder can easily hold 4 full size cards and 4
envelopes. When selecting paper for this
project, find heavier weight designer paper or use cardstock as I did.
Card Holder instructions
To make the card holder, cut the
cardstock 8 ½ x 10 (or an A4 with 2.5cm removed from the long side) and on the
10” (or longer side for your A4) side score at 4 3/4, 12cm and 5 ¼ or 16cm. On
the 8 ½ (or shorter A4 side) side score at 2 ¼ 5.5 cm and 2 ½ and 6cm With the 1” 2.5cm piece left over, make the
“gusset” pieces: cut 2 pieces 1 x 2 ¾
(2.5cm x 6.5cm) and score each at 1 (2.5cm) and 1 ¼ (3cm). Trim your holder (see the big X below on the
left) and burnish your folds.
Add the 2 gussets, first to the bottom
and then attach to the folder (so they won’t show).
Decorate the front with a stamped
image on 4 ¼” x 5 ½” (or a ¼ sheet of A4) Wrap about 24” 60cm of ribbon around
the front and tie in a bow, then add either a stamped image or the layered die
cuts to the front about 5 ½ x 4 ¼ (1/4 sheet of A4) with a sentiment and maybe
an embellishment. Put your dimensionals
at the top and the bottom of the front image so the ribbon runs freely.
I hope you make some cards. These were super easy as we wanted to visit vs learn new things!
We had such a fun time, it was online, and we are ready to be back in person, but we had so much fun.
happy crafting, MaryKate
