Artistic Expressions

This is the final post (at least for a few weeks) using this fabulous set. The paper is stunning, and the stamp/die bundle is versatile and beautiful!

Card top left uses a die from from the Contours set for hello, but otherwise it's all from Artistic Expressions.  The card top middle shows you a sneak peek of the big leafy die.  The card to the right has lovely gold accents with the foil and the ribbon.  Love all these bright colors!

If you need tips, dimensions of the cards or layers, just reach out to MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com

I'll let you know when the paper comes back in stock!

More (peachy) Expressions in Ink

Following on from yesterday's post, 2 more "Expressions in Ink" cards, these using the Papaya focused paper.

They both feature the paper with the peachy look - the color is Pale Papaya - can you see the gold in the paper? I love the Pear Pizzazz coordination.

Card on the left uses shapes from the Epherma pack, along with Gold Shimmer ribbon. The greeting on the left is from the set Biggest Wish.  There are 1/16" strips of gold foil, to create a focus for the paper.

Card on the right has the matching Pale Papaya ribbon with the greeting from the Artistic Expressions set die cut with the Contour dies.  Simple cards but I love this look.

I'll be putting on another class soon using this fun set and great paper, email me MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com with questions on tips, dimensions etc!

Expressions in Ink with Gold Accents

Finally this gorgeous paper is back in stock, it's the Expressions in Ink! Click on the shopping cart if you are interested... rumor has it, it will sell quickly!

Lots of different ways to add gold accents.

Above I layered gold foil below the paper, used gold embossing for the hello greeting and added 5 gold shimmer dots.  The envelope uses the big stamp with the "swirling" image.

This card uses gold leafing.  Gold leafing can be applied with Heat and Stick powder or other adhesives. I used liquid Tombow glue with a toothpick, drawing fine lines of glue on the image (created with the big "swirling" stamp.  Let the glue dry about 5-10 min so there is no white glue showing (it will still be sticky).  Then press on gold leafing and remove excess leafing with a dry sponge.

This card uses the gold leaves from the Ephemera pack and the gold 6 sided figure. I also used gold shimmer ribbon on the card.  The back of the pink paper is the fun gold-striped paper.  The pink flowers are make with Shimmer vellum with a gold dot in the center.

I added gold with this card using the large die from this Artistic Expression bundle - the dies are super. This big flower image and a big leaf are some of the fun elements.  You'll see vellum underneath the gold.

Of course all the cards used the paper with the gold element "shot through" the pattern. I hope you can see this through the vellum.

An amazing stamp and die set, I highly recommend this and the paper.  Click on the shopping cart and search for "expressions" to see it all.
