Bonanza Buddies

I'm on the design team for Y Knot Stamp Everything this month and we are creating with this fun set!   I'll post 3 different projects this month on our page.

Here's my first inspired by a swap I got from Judy on the team.  

It's a pop up card but it's a super simple one.  

The base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 fold in half, and emboss the front (I used the subtle folder).  

Cut out a square from this front (you don't use it in this project.
Cut an identical sized square from a coordinating color - I used coastal cabana.  
Cut a slightly smaller square in white and decorate with these fun "buddies" and stamp some balloons. Attach it to the coastal cabana square.  

Now make the inside.  Cut a Coastal Cabana piece 5 1/4 x 8 and score on the long side at 2, 4, 6.  
Stamp on the last panel. Fold and burnish the folds. Attach a piece of designer paper 5 x 1 3/4 (love these balloons).
Now adhere this folded piece inside the card.   See the photo.

Now take the front square and fold the base closed.  Place the square in the hole (in the Mango Melody base) and glue it ONLY to the right side (so it pops out).

Really easy.  Tip .. glue the square ONLY to the right side (don't ask me how I know this!)

The fun triangle box came from my friend Janey Backer of Inspired Stamping. You can make this any size at all.

Create a rectangle - mine was Coastal Cabana 4 x 8.  score in half on the long side.  Now mark the 4" side at the center (at the 2") and score a diagonal to the middle on both sides. Rotate your paper and do 2 more score lines. So you have 2 triangles.  Fold the box. Punch holes in the sides, add ribbon and some designer paper.
