Honey Bee Zee Fold Card with a Sampler Square

If you follow me you'll know that I've been making samplers.

Samplers use 3 x 3 squares and larger 6 1/4 x 3 rectangles.

For the first 10 days in February I'll post a project every day that uses one of these squares or rectangles in a different way (cards, gift card holders, Lindt Bar wrappers and more!)

Today is a full size card.

The square for this zee fold was mine!
1.           Let’s start with the 3 x 3 square:  Daffodil Card stock layer is 3 x 3, basic black 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 and designer paper is 2 ¾ x 2 ¾
2.           I used my snail adhesive to attach about 10-12” of the ruched ribbon.
3.           I stamped a greeting from the Honey Bee set
4.           Punch it out with the Label me Fancy and trim this label.
5.           Attach a gold glitter dot.
6.           Attach your 3 x 3 onto a 3 ½ x 3 ½ square
7.           Make the zee card 4 ¼ x 11 – fold in half and then fold the front in half to make the zee fold. I used Coastal Cabana for a fun contrasting color.
8.           Run the front through the Big Shot with an embossing folder (many work – I used the new Stone 3D folder – a free Sale-A-Bration item)
9.           Attach your front to the zee
10.        Insert a whisper white inside the card cut 3 ½ x 4
11.        Decorate your envelope with designer paper

All the products (honey bee stamp set and dies, ribbon, punch, ink, dots) are available in my online store (click on the shopping cart) .. except the bee paper which is FREE with a $50 order!  email me with questions MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com
