This is a toolholder - or with handle it could be a mug!
Ingredients
Base 6 x 9 ½ scored on the long side at 1 ½, 3, 4 ½ 6, 7 ½, 9; Score along the short side at ¾ (at the top of the tool holder) and at 1 ½ for the bottom of the tool holder
DSP 3 1/4 x 1, Foil is 3 1/2 x 1 1/4
2” circle for bottom outside (for finish)
Instructions
1. Adhere
the DSP to the foil. Adhere the DSP/foil to the 6 sections of the tool holder.
2. Burnish the tool holder on all score lines.
3.
Trim the side tab – this is the ½” edge – trim off both
the top and bottom squares, miter the edge, see the photo with the 2 arrows.
4. Cut the
tabs at the bottom (no need to miter).
5. Fold
down the top “cuff” tip - do this BEFORE you create the holder
6. Now,
put tear n tape along the ½ side tab and then fit the tab into the on to the
holder to make it a hexagon. See the red arrow to the right.
