A tool holder or a mug, fun to create and fill with goodies

This is a toolholder - or with handle it could be a mug!

Base 6 x 9 ½ scored on the long side at 1 ½, 3, 4 ½ 6, 7 ½, 9; Score along the short side at ¾  (at the top of the tool holder) and at 1 ½ for the bottom of the tool holder

DSP 3 1/4 x 1, Foil is 3 1/2 x 1 1/4

2” circle for bottom outside (for finish)

1.   Adhere the DSP to the foil. Adhere the DSP/foil to the 6 sections of the tool holder.

2.   Burnish the tool holder on all score lines.

3.   Trim the side tab – this is the ½”  edge – trim off both the top and bottom squares, miter the edge, see the photo with the 2 arrows.

4.   Cut the tabs at the bottom (no need to miter).

5.   Fold down the top “cuff” tip - do this BEFORE you create the holder

6.   Now, put tear n tape along the ½ side tab and then fit the tab into the on to the holder to make it a hexagon. See the red arrow to the right.

7.   Now turn your holder upside down and adhere all the tabs putting a bit of liquid glue or tear tape on each tab. Hold the holder carefully to ensure it dries nice and evenly (no wonky holders!)

8.   Cover the bottom with a 1 ½ or 2” circle (to look nice, not essential) but can also be used for a greeting.

What will you put in your toolholder or mug?

I hope you make a tool holder or a mug. If you have any questions or you'd like any supplies, please contact me or click on the shopping cart link (above left!).

IDEAS Blog Hop January 2024 Loving Sale-A-Bration

Hello and welcome to the IDEAS Blog Hop for January 2024 - featuring projects that use our Sale-A-Bration products. You will love the variety of styles, sets, dies and paper we used. What a great way to see how to use these new free products.

We have a range of projects from easy and fun for new stampers or more detailed designs for an avid crafter.  Each tutorial includes 2+ projects featuring SAB products.  Several tutorials include 3+ projects.

This month we have curated tutorials from 11 international Demonstrators with a 60 page full color tutorial bundle for you, featuring colorful cards.  You will get 11 detailed tutorials with a range of projects.  The tutorials have detailed instructions in imperial (aka inches!) and metric.

Here is our sneak peek collage for the November IDEAS Tutorial Bundle.  Each photo represents one designer's tutorial in our bundle.

I created using the new SAB designers paper!  The Most Adored (hearts) and the Trusty Tools.

All the details, how-to, dimensions and tips are in my tutorial. Lots of photos and diagrams to make it easy to follow along.  A pretty inside also makes this a great card.   A super fun suite of projects!

I hope you like these projects and the projects from my fellow IDEAS demonstrators.  It's really a great bundle of inspiration for crafters or demonstrators looking for new ideas or workshop ideas.  Keep hopping so you can see all the creativity.   The bundle is about 65 pages of detailed full color instructions with 25+ projects and so many tips.

Would you like a copy of the instructions for these projects to use for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact me at Free to customers, or Free to my team members, or $15 by PayPal.

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember not to share or distribute the printed or electronic copies of these bundles. We have worked hard to provide these exclusive projects for your use. If you know someone that would like to purchase the bundle, please direct them to me to obtain their copy.
