I received some beautiful birthday cards this year from friends who stamp.  I thought you might get some great ideas and inspiration from these talented crafters!
First - here's the whole bunch of cards

This one below is from Susan Denton Loughrey, check out the copper embossing and the matching copper foil - so pretty with Early Espresso and the Soft Sky. This was made from the Colorful Seasons set.

Suzie Barnes made this one from the same Colorful Seasons set (so versatile).
She cut out an oval on a piece of scrap to create the mask and then I think used Powder Pink ink with a sponge.  Super pretty with Calypso Coral and my favorite part of the die set - the Adirondack chair in the wood paper.

April Lindow created this card from the Beautiful Bouquet set.  These colors are gorgeous together.  Another great part of this card is the matching ribbon.  April dyed the ribbon to match... so to do this you (first wrap your finder in cling wrap) then put the ribbon on the ink pad, and pull the ribbon across the ink pad (under your finger).  Matching ribbon - love it.  I think her ribbon was the very vanilla.

And here's the whole die set with the stamps. I have this set but have not used it so much. I think I'll get this out!

When you have an October birthday you get a lot of great Halloween gifts and cards, and I love this one from Stephanie Gillian.  Super simple but so cute.
Love this Spooky Cat set!

I hope you got lots of inspiration!

Happy Stamping MaryKate
