This
year the project kit spoke to me… 20 cards $20 and I love the stamp set. We are
using this set Oct 14 (and it’s part of the class fee, so you’ll take it
home). So on Day 8 I'm making 1 of the cards and filling it with a stand up shopping bag.
It's definitely part of my 12 Days of Christmas as I love the result and the ease of these cards. Here they are made up.
And here is what you get in the kit.
Quick tips for the Oh Joy card. I found it easy to use tear n tape to secure the sequin trim. The instructions (see right side) are great. And I found 10" of sequins was just right. It's definitely part of my 12 Days of Christmas as I love the result and the ease of these cards. Here they are made up.

I
wanted to add a little something so I thought I’d insert a shopping bag inside.
The bag stands up and holds a card or gift card (or something smallish or flatish).
Here it is standing and flat with the shopping bag inside.
This shopping bag insert was designed by Becky Roberts and she sells a tutorial to make this bag, so to respect that I’m not posting the “how to” or dimensions. However I'm allowed to teach you how to and will do so Oct 12 at Warsaw (6-730pm, pls RSVP)
Here you can see the bag inside.

Essentially
you’ll make a shopping bag (using the Merry Music Paper which is a little lighter than regular designer paper) and insert the bag into the
card you make from the kit. I matched
the silver sequin on the card, to the silver sequin on the bag handles.
We
are making this in class Oct 12 6pm-730pm at Warsaw and I’ll be teaching you
how to make this, along with the Santa treat boxes (yesterday’s post) and
another smaller project – RSVP for a place.
Happy
Stamping MaryKate
