Use the woodland
embossing folder by folding the card and putting the whole card through the big
shot. Usually I do just the front but I
really liked this spooky forest look.
Punch
2 banners from the Spooky Cat designer paper both 1 ½ wide, one is 4 and the
other 4 1/2, flag with the triple banner punch.
Add to the front of the card.
Punch
a label from solid black cardstock. Stamp and punch the Halloween label and put on
the front of the card. Layer them together with the black label vertical and
stamped one horizontal. You could if you
wish cut the black in half and adhere to the back of the other punch so the
ends poke out a little (we’ll do that in a later project).
Attach
to the card front. Add some wink of
Stella into the trees (as I did) or glitter dots or black rhinestones (I didn’t
this time) if you wish. Stamp a greeting
on a Very Vanilla piece about 3 x ½ and then put inside the card.
Now
make the matching fold up box
Cut
the Pumpkin piece of the designer paper 9 x
4, scored at 3 ¾ and 5 ¼ on the long side and 1” on
each of the short sides.
Fold
and burnish the bag on the score lines so you have firm creases.
Fold
the corners taking the corner that is 4 1/2” from the top edge and pushing it
up to the side. First
photo shows the
first corner being made, second shows me creasing this corner firmly, then you
see 2 corners done and then the whole bag.
Once you have folded 4 corners the bag can lie flat so you can make a
bunch and store flat until you need them, then fill and accessorize
Close
with a gold clip (or you could punch a 1/8 hole and tie with ribbon or twine)
and stamp and punch out a Halloween greeting with matching label punch. This box holds 2 chocolates just perfectly!
