The Sunshine Wishes Happy Birthday Gorgeous Card and Tiny Treat Box

A simple card but with the matching box, I think it’s a wow!!

The topper idea was created by my friend and team mate Carla Blake of Seattle -- love our team, so fun to see and share everyone's ideas.

And here's a photo from the top so you can see the dimension on the flower.

Card is 8 ½ x 5 ½.  The Designer paper (Eclectic) is 5 ½ x 1 ¼ and the matching lemon lime twist is 5 ½ x 1 ½.    Adhere together and then on the card

Cut a piece of whisper white 5 ½ x 1/2
And another 5 ½ x 2 ¼

Stamp a greeting using Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set (so very versatile) in the matching Fresh Fig ink (could be a birthday thank you or anything on the larger whisper white. Adhere the white pieces to the front with larger dimensionals.

Cut the stem and flower using the Sunshine wishes dies.   Add to the front with the mini dimensionals.  I love how this card has pop but simplicity!

Now the treat box.  These clear boxes go together easily.  Just remember when putting the bottom together, fold the largest piece in, then the sides, then the piece with the “tongue”.

Cut 6 flowers (4 Fresh Fig, 2 Lemon Lime), layer these up with liquid glue and if you wish a mini dimensional.   Let it dry.

Cut a piece of Lemon Lime Twist 8 ½ x 1 ½ and fold it around the box (don’t score, just fold), now you have the folds, burnish with the bone folder so they are crisp.    My photo below shows the Lemon Lime Twist strip with the burnished folds.

Cut a piece of the matching eclectic paper 8 ½ x 1 ¼ and adhere it to the first “square” and fold, then more glue, then fold, more glue and fold… til done.

Tip:  Don’t glue the whole piece of designer paper down flat on the Lemon Lime as the folds need a smidge of space.  so glue a section, then the next etc.

Adhere the band at the back of the box. Can you see my strip of tear n tape??.  Fill with treats… add the flower with a glue dot.

These Sunshine Wishes dies are great. I've used the all year - the hearts for Valentine's Day and Anniversaries and Weddings.

You can always go to the catalog for ideas for this set... see this photo below...

or you can search "sunshine" in the search box on this blog and you'll see other projects I've made - see the blue arrow below

Don't forget the clearance section was just restocked and you know things will go fast!  Use the host code (top right hand corner) see the orange arrow above and share in the customer goodie boxes!!
