Embossing folders - does 3D matter?

A quick post today on embossing folders.  To use the folders you insert the paper into the folder and run through the big shot.   Now we have 3D folders - and it works the same but use only 1 cutting plate.

These cards use the new 3D leaves on the left and the favorite petal burst on the right.  I like them both - do you have a preference?   I ran the front of the card through so there's texture on the front and inside.

I used the fresh florals designer paper, hand cut out a flower (I had a long drive and it kept me busy!).  Matching finely woven Berry Burst ribbon (wrapped around the card, then the "bow" is really a 4" piece of ribbon tied in a knot), makes it coordinated.  Note cards (20 for $6 with envelopes all scored) make it fast and easy.

Tip: before you run through the big shot with your embossing folder do all your stamping.  This 'thank you' is from all things thanks.  You might not see it at first (see my red arrow)... I cut the thank you out of the stamp that says "thank you for welcoming our newest arrival".  Since there won't be any new arrivals around here...(unless there's a new snowmobile in my future!) I snipped off the thank you, as I love the font!

Happy stamping - MaryKate
