You all know I love this Jar of Love set - so fun! (and if you want to see more Jar projects, just type in "jar" in the search bar (top right of the blog).
This is a super quick easy versatile project. I'm thinking of making these "books" for back to school goodies for students or teachers.
Here's the how to:
Cut a
piece of THICK whisper white 3 ½ x 5 1/2, on the long side score at 2 ½ from
either side. Corner round all four
corners. Burnish your folds.
On
the front of the “book”, stamp a jar and die cut out the front opening. Stamp a greeting and punch with the classic
label punch. Lots in the set, but I
selected one from Teeny Tiny Wishes – a go to set!
Stamp
a lid and cut it out. Put mini dimensionals
on the back. Wrap linen thread around the lid about 3 times, tie in a bow. Add
some liquid glue and then add to the front of the jar jar.
Now
wrap your Hershey nuggets in matching paper (about 1” x 3”) and then position your
nuggets inside the card and secure with strong adhesive. I used the Naturally Eclectic paper... I think I've been using it all August long!
Give
some away!! Super quick and easy to make
a lot of – and very versatile – think about Halloween paper/colors or Christmas
or Valentines Day.
Happy Stamping!
