Toil and Trouble Treat Bag

I did this in a Halloween look but it would be great in any season.

The  designer paper is 4 x 10 (so 3 boxes from a 12 x 12), score on the long side 1” from each side and then  on the long side at 5/8, 1 ¼ 4 ½ 5 ½ 8 ¾ 9 3/8 see the red dashed lines.

Here's a template for you.

Burnish your folds.  Trim the tabs, cutting at the 4 ½ and 5 ½ score lines.   See the solid red lines for cutting. Miter these tabs.  Cut off the 4 corners, see the big red X.  These 4 square are 1 ¼ x 1.

Corner round your edges with the punch board (the top 4 corners) see the green dots. Punch a 1/8 hole in the top.
Now put your box together, adhering the sides together. Close with black organza sparkly 8” ribbon and white twine.  (Put the candy in first!) Decorate the front with the cauldron or the witch.  If you wish add a Halloween greeting to a ½ strip at the bottom.

Quick and easy and if you need to make "one for everyone in the class", this is a great project for you!

Happy halloween! MaryKate
