Country Home and Lane Class Warsaw Sept 10th

Hi stampers - classes at Warsaw Pittsfield ME kickoff again Sept 10.  We will be creating 3 projects with this Country Home set (Country Lane Suite).  We will be using the Blends (alcohol markers) and creating a Blessing Mix

Do you see the textured background? It's the Tin Tile Embossing Folder, really a neat look. I'll also be using this with paper that has a tin metal look in another project.

These blessing mix bags are quick fun gifts and we'll make the tag from the pretty paper.  You can color the pumpkins if you would like.  I like the burlap with the linen thread, what do you think?  

I've included the tags with the mix on the back.  Here's the recipe (or you can Google "blessing mix" for variations).

Blessing Mix Ingredients

2 cups Bugles corn snack for

 the cornucopia of blessings

2 cups small pretzels

for arms folded in prayer

1 cup candy corn to remember

the Pilgrims who lived on corn

1 cup dried fruit or raisins

for the bounty of the land

1 cup nuts or seeds

for the seeds we plant

1 cup M&Ms candy

to remember others

16 Hershey's kisses with love
