Banner Blessings - A thank you card or Thanksgiving invitation

This card was designed to make a lot of quickly, with a wow factor.
I created 4 projects in Warmth and Cheer for class. This one is from Banner Blessings set (on sale $8 yippee for clearance) and I love this one. I'll use this for thank you notes and maybe my Thanksgiving invitation.
The crumb notecards make it fast and easy – they come 20 to a packet and are cut and scored with the envelope.
Layer on a 3 ¼ x 2 ¼ piece of the plaid Warmth & Cheer.  Then add a piece of tear tape and adhere on the burlap ( cut about 4", another piece of tear tape and adhere the thin garden green ribbon.
Stamp the thanks on the label (cut from the lots of labels die set) and trim off about ¼ from the top and the bottom of this label.  I like the garden green on the crumb cake – what do you think?
Add the greeting on top of the 2 ribbons with 2 dimensionals
Decorate the envelope with a 2” strip.  Adhere to the envelope with liquid glue, let it dry and trim the edge – see photo on the right where I glued on the paper and am about to trim it.

Just that little bit extra of envelope decoration makes it pop!

Here's the set and an idea from the catalog on using the "friend" stamp as a tag.

I'll be using this for holiday cards with the Joyful and Shine and will post some cards... I'm thinking of gold, silver and copper foil layers... maybe some matching embossing... hmmmm.

Happy crafting, email me with questions or leave a comment, MaryKate
