I hope this post answers all of your questions about this kit. You get the boxes made up, stickers, a guide (which I didn't use!)
This is what it makes. Each box is 2 x 2 x 2 and very sturdy. It ends up 11 x 11 and sits up well.
Here's what you get... all the boxes are ready made. You get lots of stickers, I used them a lot and still have plenty of left overs.
You get all the numbers and I liked attaching them in a non-linear way - but appreciate some of you might prefer them to be all lined up!
First I laid out all the paper pieces on the box to be sure I didn't clump together any of the colors (which are Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow).
Then I just had fun choosing stickers to decorate the boxes.
You don't need to stamp - and don't need the matching stamp set (in my opinion). But you can stamp on these papers before you add stickers or numbers. A set that would also work is the Foliage Frost - or really any set with leaves, pinecones, snowflakes etc... I'm sure you have something in your stash!
After the stickers, I added the numbers with dimensions.
Really that's it. I'm going to fill it with treats for my class Oct 21 (that is our last Adult Ed class this fall at Warsaw and then we shift to classes to go!)
Anyway at class everyone will choose a treat box and they might get embellishments, a Lindt chocolate balls, ribbons, dimensions... it will be a great way to finish our in-person Adult Ed.
Truly I was impressed with this kit, it's really pretty, fun and easy to put together and a nice quality, sturdy product.
I'm already thinking of turning the boxes backward and decorating the other side for Halloween - stay tuned!!
If you want to join us Oct 21 for class I have 2 places left (as I write this post) so email me MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com for a place or if you have questions on this project kit - or anything!
Happy crafting, MaryKate
