New In Colors - Join the Blog Hop

Thank you for joining our Inspire, Create, Share coast-to-coast blog hop.  We are featuring the new In Colors for 2018-2020.

You have landed in Maine and here we love our blueberries so it’s no surprise that my favorite in color is Blueberry Bushel!  Shhhh don’t tell all the other colors.

I made a thank you card and gift set focused on blueberries.   I love how existing stamps coordinate so well with the new colors (or new stamp/die sets).

I used Blueberry Bushel and Pineapple Punch to make the Apron card.  I love this simple design (so much it was my swap design for the 2018 Occasion catalog (here’s a link to that card) http://www.sipcraftcare.com/2018/01/the-apron-of-love.html

I created a blueberry muffin mix in a quart jar and added a tag that has the “wet”
ingredients and the instructions for the muffins.

I added in some blueberry jam (we are kinda crazy here about our own Stonewell Kitchen) and New England Blueberry coffee and I put it in the 6 x 17 cello bag with a 4 x 6 topper folded in half in the matching designer paper.  I love how a simple topper with a bow makes it a present.

Then since I love the little oven mitt, I added it to the top of the jar :)

I thought I’d add in some sprinkle mixture and made an apron box to hold it.  The sprinkle mix is in a 3 x 6 cello bag is sugar and cinnamon.

Since the other new in colors were not getting much love, I thought, why not make one in each of the new colors with the new designer paper (love that it’s 6x6).

You can use these apron boxes to hold a lot of different things.  They finish about 2" wide and 1" deep.  What fits...??

A gift card, I thought this might look cute with a Starbucks logo (but wasn't sure I'd be allowed to post it!)

Chocolates, 3 fit in just perfectly.

My favorite use is to hold 2 Tombow liquid glues.

I will post all the measurements and dimensions of the card, the tag and the apron box tomorrow (it would be too long a post for today) and I know you want to keep hopping.  You can hit “subscribe” or just drop in tomorrow.

Head over and see what Joni Metras has for you.

Happy hopping, MaryKate
