2017 Paper Pumpkin was
all about plaid. The kit included 10 shaker cards, here they are!
I
make these shaker cards just like the kit
said and I like how they turned out.
The
Old Olive, Pool Party and Cherry Cobbler was a great combination.
Here are all my other projects!
First my shaker cards just like the instructions
I
then made a few different cards. Here’s
a bridge card.
The dimensions are 6 ¼ width and 5 ½ high.
Along the 6 ¼ you score at 1” and 2” from either end. So you used the pre-scored line and add 2
more. We have not made a bridge card for
a while but I thought this was great (and thank you Rachel Tessman
for the inspiration).
I
liked the idea of the diagonal look. The
one is made from a plaid piece 4 x 4 ¼ (the 4 ¼ is the long horizontal
side. You slice this to create the
space. I added a tiny strip of glimmer paper (wonder if I should have used
gold??) and then added the Pine leaves, and the pinecone with the bow from the matching dies.
I
made a box from the envelope. I’ll show
you how to do this during our online class Nov 27. Very easy… take a bag or an envelope and
score at ¾ from each side and ¾ along the bottom. Fold up the gusseted corners and secure with
strong glue. Decorate the front. I left
it empty to show you but I think I’ll add cards and a present and some shred.
I
love these stockings from Tags and Trimmings.
I made one from plaid and the other from Old Olive.
One
has the heel, toe, cuff in Old Olive and the other the plaid. The other thing that is different is the
tab. The tab can be at the top, so you
can hang it like a banner, or it can be tucked into the bottom of the stocking
to make the pillow box stronger.
I put the envelopes behind the stocking... they are wow!
Do
you have a favorite? I like them
all! I’m sorry that this set is sold
out. But it’s matching “sister” set will come out Nov 10, you need to subscribe
by Nov 10 end of the day to get the November kit. All we are told is that it matches this one
(although you can use them separately).
All supplies, ink, embellishments are in the package… so it’s a fun 30
minute crafting escape. Or you can spend
a few hours as I did and make different projects!
Happy
stamping, don’t forget to subscribe by Nov 10, MaryKate
