Hippo Happiness Birthday

Such a fun happy card!  Easy to put together

Here's a video to show you some tips on the two-step stamping and lining up images.

Click here for a short video on how to make this card

1.       Stamp the hippos on the Bermuda Bay 3 ½ x 4 ½ with a “tone on tone” stamp, randomly stamping hippos to make your own designer paper.
2.       Add the black piece (5 x 3 ¾) to the base card, add the stamped Bermuda Bay card stock. Base is 8 ½ x 5 ½ folded in half.
3.       Stamp the hippo on a scrap piece of whisper white, first stamp off (to make the color lighter) then stamp the

2nd stamp full strength
4.       Stamp the hippo’s face (tip: line up the nostrils)
5.       Die cut the hippo
6.       Stamp the bow tie in Gorgeous Grape and die cut this
7.       Stamp 3 balloons, 2 are Bermuda Bay (1 is stamped off) and the other is Gorgeous Grape.
8.       Add the strip of Gorgeous Grape
9.       Position the stitched shape and then stamp the balloon strings. Now add the stitched shape with dimensions, add the hippo with dimensions, add the bow tie. Add the balloons.
10.   Stamp inside
11.   Stamp the envelope
You are done… all this card needs is a stamp on the envelope to make someone’s day 😊

The bundle (see right) comes with such a lot of dies and so many nested shapes!! Really wow'd by this bundle $48.50 so not super expensive!  (Available in the online shop if you are interested).

Dimensions of the cardstock
Black panel 5 ¼ x 4
Bermuda Bay 5 x 3 ¾
Gorgeous Grape ¼ x 3 ¾
Highland Heather 3 x 3 (die cut into the middle stitched shape)

Happy stamping, MaryKate
