My team has been having fun with a series of creative challenges. One was a color challenge using the 5 retiring in-colors (get these supplies before they run out!), 2 of my team mates won ribbon though a random drawing of all participants.
Here's next week's challenge, inspired by 2 notecards made by Suzie Barnes my upline.
Both these notecards use a 3x3 piece of designer paper and are dressed up with embellishments like the butterflies, the braid trim, a punched piece and fun sentiments.
Here's a few close ups: This one has a back layer of 3 1/4 x 4 3/4 (notecards are 3 1/2 x 5 and are 20 to a pack with envelopes).
I love that she used the subtle (dry) embossing folder on the back petal pink layer.
The sentiment is fun ... we had a "socially distant" craft day where we were each in our homes (vs in person).
This one uses the stunning designer paper that looks like a Degas or a Monet. Just a few embellishments dress it up.
So the challenge... I sent my team 6 pieces of 3 x 3 paper and matching cardstock, along with a notecard and envelope. I've asked them to make either or notecards and/or treat packaging with these pieces.
They can add extra cardstock or matching ribbon or twine. For every project they create and post to our FB page, they get an entry to win one of 2 stamp sets. There's an early bird winner on Saturday May 2nd and a 2nd winner on Monday May 4.
