Poppy Post It Note Holder

A cute post it holder or business card holder for your desk.

This holder is a box and a "flap".  You make the box and fold the back flap part and attach them.  Here are the tips and dimensions. First the ingredients (all in inches)

2 pieces

Box:  2 ½ x 8 ½ scored at ½, 4, 4 ½, 8 and on the short side at 2

Back piece: 3 ½ x 8 ½ score at 2 ½, 3, 3 ½, 6

DSP 1 ¾ x 3 ¼

Trim your tabs and add tear and tape to the last 1/2" edge.

And a close up of the tab trimming. Do you see the little wedges I take out to reduce the bulk?

Put the box together, first by removing the tear n tape backing, making it into a box.  Then close the bottom of the box.  I suggest liquid glue or tear n tape.

Now fold the flap.  Do you see the photo below with the bottom in an "M" shape? And the last flap (at the top of the photo)? Attach your box to the flap.

Now the fun part, decorate the front. I kept it simple with white twine and some leaf elements. What will you do??
