This one is a design that I've used for a while. It's my "hole in a card". I like the idea of looking into the inside of the card.
It's such an easy design. The base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and you punch a 2 1/4 hole just off to the side, not centered.
You attach 1/2 strip of paper to the front left (that's why the hole is to the right of center).
Stamp on the front. If you wish you can dry emboss the front. I added some leaves from the Poppy Elements. Click here if you want more information on these elements.
Now fill in the hole. I used the poppy paper with the very large flowers and cut the flower out with a poppy die for a fun shape. But you could use the circle punch. Or you can stamp something to peek through the hole.
I also adhered another 1/2 strip of paper on the inside and stamped.
Last fall, I created this "cow" in a hole... I love thinking about what I want to peek through!
Happy stamping, MaryKate
