April Paper Pumpkin - a winner

Well I said I'd post some alternatives but instead I made the cards and added only a few extras.

One idea I had was to insert a sheet of vellum inside the cards.  I secured it with the twine a single glue dot. I added the flower stamp (let it dry a good 10 min or use a heat tool).  I love elevating the card with this sheet (cut 6 x 4 folded in half).

And I made the box.  This is really pretty and yes all 9 cards and envelopes fit into the box. A great present or a nice stash of cards to have on hand.

This is a perfect set for a beginner, you really don't need anything else (except adhesive) to make these cards and while it's great to be inspired by alternatives, it's great when the box works just as you want it to.

Refills are $9 and I'll be stocking up on this one.  Also... if you have the Itty Bitty Greetings set, this would be perfect to fit the size of the die cuts.

Next month Paper Pumpkin is designed by the founder Shelli Gardener and I bet it will be great. If you'd like a box it's $20 a month and you can buy just 1 month, or several months - so no obligation - just as you wish.  You must sign up by the 10th (and I recommend the 9th, just in case!)

And this is a 3min video if you'd like to see a peak - to see colors, the flowers, birds, and a nest.  8  cards and other surprises is what we were told.

It's creative escape, usually it takes me around just under and hour to make up all the projects (and then I dither as I think, shall I do something different?).

Don't forget - the 10th of the month is the deadline.
