Butterflies and Beauty Abounds

A quick post, this is a simple birthday card for my neighbor.

This card uses Beauty Abounds Bundle (I bought the dies but not the stamps...but you never know!)

You just cut 2 of the big butterfly dies out, and then attach them to each other. I used the Sizzix adhesive sheets so I stuck my paper to the sticker sheet, ran the die through the Big Shot, and then it's like having 2 big stickers!

I attached this to a  3 3/4 x 5 Whisper White and then a 4 x 5 1/4 smokey slate base and then BEFORE you attach this to the base card, layer about 12" of ribbon (free with Sale-A-Bration) staple to the base, add the greeting on top of the ribbon with dimensions.

Now add this top layer to the base card 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 folded in half.   Add a few glitter dots, I added mine in Granny Apple Green.

I made a matching wine tag - The wine tag is 2 ½ wide and the hole is 2” wide as is the Soiree designer paper. The Highland Heather is 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 and the Whisper White is 3 1/2 x 2 - stamp any greeting - I used the Picture Perfect Birthday Set (a true winner, I use this constantly!) and then I stamped and punched some small butterflies.

Ok gotta admit... the top butterfly (on the ring part...) I had a little smudge (does that happen to you?!) so I covered it up.

Making it all match in one color (or using just a few) makes it work.

Don't forget to add something (a stamp, a butterfly, a piece of paper) to the envelope. NO MORE NAKED envelopes!  And I had an extra butterfly so I put it inside along with a greeting.

She is a wonderful neighbor and I hope she loves it.
