Happy New Crafting Year to you all!

Happy New Year! 

 

I hope you all had a great break.  I took a week off work and crafting (well everything!) and feel so excited to jump back into all things creative and crafty.

I’ve posted my classes (see Events/Workshops) and our first class is Monday Jan 8 at Warsaw 6pm. We’ll make 3 cards.   2 cards are from the Happy Kit and we’ll use watercolor pencils.  An RSVP is essential as I want to have plenty of supplies.

Our 3rd project is from the new Sale-A-Bration catalog,  The set is Lavender.  

The sample on the left is what we are  making.  Lots of different greetings (this one is from Happy Wishes) but so many would work so well. 

Super pretty to color.  The set is above.  You can color in the flowers and leaves or simply stamp on the color.  I'll have samples of each one. 

To the right are samples from the catalog. 

We’ll be using the new Stampin Blends alcohol markers – and there will be options to try this set with inks, aquapainters, or you can stay with watercolor pencils.  It will be fun to try the different tools to see the various effects and on different paper (regular cardstock, vs watercolor paper). 

I've been a bit slow to get on the Blends "band-wagon" but I'm on it now!  Here's a quick video on "how to"... we'll get to play with these Jan 8 and other classes as well.
