The Pinwheel Card, designed by my friend Angel Holmes with inspiration from Darlene McCallum.
Here are the ingredients: copper glimmer paper, merry merlot ribbon, a silver foil-edged base and Joyous Noel paper.
1.Cut a base 4 ¾ x 3 ½ stamp Merry Christmas lower right in
merry Merlot (I used the Star of Light set).
2.Cut 2 squares 2 5/8 x 2 5/8
3.Cut
4 squares 1 ¼ x 1 ¼ in 1 pattern
and 4 more in another pattern
4.Glue
the 2 big squares
together diagonally – see photo.
5.Now
Glue each small square into the 8 corners, overlapping the squares to create a pinwheel. Your last square needs to tuck into the
first, so glue relatively quickly!
6.Attach
the pinwheel to a piece
4 ¾ x 3 ½, wrap 5” of ribbon, secure with scotch tape. Now take a 4” piece of ribbon and tie a knot
around the ribbon, secure to the card.
7.Stamp a greeting inside the card.
Keep it simple, make it beautiful, I hope you try it! Happy stamping, MaryKate
