New to stamping? How best to try it out?

I had a fun question yesterday... "how do I try out stamping"?

I'm very interested to hear all your ideas (please comment below).  My thought was to buy a "kit".  A kit has stamps, ink and all the supplies you need to create beautiful projects.

Here are a few kit ideas:

The first is Paper Pumpkin. At $20 a month (and for August 2018 only $10) it's an easy way to get creative.  You can make up the projects using the video or paper instructions just the way the kit is intended OR you can create alternative projects.  To get a Paper Pumpkin go to my online store, and click on Paper Pumpkin and buy a 1 month subscription (or more if you wish).  Don't forget the code BLOOM0818 so it's 50% off.

I also like the kits in the annual catalog.  See page 7 8 and 9. I like the one on page 8 Soft Sayings.

You get materials for 20 cards, the stamps and ink, and the block.  And there's a refill for $21 if that suits you.  Lots of card varieties, Birthday, Thank You, Congratulations, Just a Note etc. Below are the kit contents

I also liked the Lots of Happy - we made up these cards at class.  Everyone loved them. Water color pencils are included (if you buy through me I'll send a blender pen - more on that later - but you'll be glad to get this extra accessory!).  Click here to see a prior post on this kit

And a true favorite is the kit on page 205 with the Big Butterfly and Big Flower for coloring with Blends (alcohol markers). I LOVE this stamp set, mine has got a big workout!

I hope you have some inspiration on starting. Remember, it just takes StampInkPaper (the SIP in SipCraftCare).

And just me, but I think the MOST important part of a card is a stamp on the front and it going into the mail to make someone's day. Real mail really does say a lot.

Happy stamping - MaryKate

PS When ordering use the host code, you'll want my free gift this month :)  Kind of like a Holiday gift in September!
