The Healing Hugs “arm” card, super easy and very versatile!
Dimensions:
White 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 (card front)
And 4 x 4 (inside of the card)
Gorgeous Grape 9 ¾ x 4 ¼ score at 5 ½
Gorgeous Grape 1 ¼ x 9 1/2 and score 5
1/2
Black 4 x 4 (punch the starburst from
this piece in the middle)
Whisper white 2” circle x 2
Starburst circle punch
Take the SMALLER whisper white piece and
stamp the flower with not too much white space between the flowers
Stamp the greeting, the bit of texture”,
punch out with 2” circle punch, adhere to the black Starburst circle, and if
you wish, add a white circle to the other side for a “finished” look.
Take the LARGER whisper white piece and
stamp the greeting in the middle and the flower in the corner, adhere this to
the inside of the card.
Attach the arm to the back of the card
base, centering it with the side. Attach
the circle/starburst. Put the glue on the ARM NOT the circle (so the edge of
the circle does not get gluey and messes up the card front!
This set is one of several "distINKtive" sets in the new catalog that have a photo realistic look. Super pretty.
Tip: use your bone folder to ensure the
card folds flat.
This is a very easy card to make a lot of
and I think it is really useful, and easily adapted to a birthday or sympathy
or a thank you. Just about any stamp set
would work with this fun fold.
Kelly Acheson was my inspiration for this
card and I made a few changes, thank you Kelly!
Happy stamping everyone - Don't forget it's BONUS days, for every $50 you spend, you get a $5 coupon (and you know with the new holiday catalog coming, there will be something you'll want :)
