The Matt Finish with Specialty Coated Paper

This Card
is 8 ½ x 5 ½ folded
Back
layer is 4 x 5 ¼
Gold
and silver foil is 3 ¾ x 5
To get the matt finish take
your ink pad and pat it on the specialty foil paper (like a smear) and with a paper towel, using a
swirly motion, remove the ink from the foil paper. It's like polishing. The paper is coated so the ink will
come off on the paper towel. I love the
black (use Memento NOT archival) and the night of navy.
I
also tried it with Tempting Turquoise, Calypso Cora
l, Daffodil Delight, and
then Emerald Envy.
Keep
swirling for about 2-3 minutes to get an even matt finish.
I used the wow Mother's Flair set.. I think it's been overlooked. It's on the "last chance" list as it retires May 31 or until sold out. Super cute and versatile.
Stamp your image, die cut a scallop oval,
attached together. Place about 10” of
thin gold ribbon on top of the card below the oval image. Stamp inside the
card. Stamp the envelope too.
happy stamping - MaryKate
