I got so many comments on this cute to do list holder from the last Paper Pumpkin Blog hop that I thought I'd do a post on this with tips.
I like to use ALL the items in the Paper Pumpkin box and this time I even used the cardboard protector LOL :) Here's the link to the original post.
Ok and the directions...first this is what we are making - a complete gift package with envelope and card, I think I'd add in a gift card clipped to the back (that's just me!)
Take
a 12x12 DSP and cut off 3 ¾ x 12 and then cut in half for 2 sheets 3 ¾ 6, round
the corners. See the template – this is section 3.
Cut a cardboard sheet (from designer paper
back or the paper pumpkin card inserts).
Round the corners. I used my
envelope punchboard to round corners. I
was a bit nervous with using it on cardboard but I had lost the foam top on the
knob and was going to replace it so I thought why not use it? And it worked
fine. I secured the envelope with a
magnet and the dragonfly is just decoration
So
make the list holder with these 3 items, add a big clip and matching
ribbon. Add the TO DO lists – I have a
template for this to do list. Email me MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com and I'll send it to you.
Now
cut the designer paper down to 8 ¼ x 8 ¼
(section 2) and make a big envelope.
However prior to adhering the envelope together, insert the to do list,
as it’s wider at one end. I appreciate it looks a bit wonky but I think that’s
ok :)
Now
make the
notecard.
The designer piece is 3 x 4 ½, section 1, the silver foil is 3 ¼ x 4 ¾.
The set is All Things Thanks and I used silver embossing powder with Versamark.
With
the leftover from section 1, wrap the jumbo clip, I used 1 5/8 x 2 1/8 and
wrapped it.
I
think this makes a cute thank you gift – if you wanted it to be more you could
add a little gift card on the back of the list holder.
I hope you make one! Happy crafting, MaryKate
