I made this card for a special friend is Strasborg CO. I used the very popular High Tide set and for the first time didn't stamp a lighthouse (we are a bit crazy about our lighthouses in Maine).
The top layer is vellum - you can stamp on vellum, really let it dry so it doesn't smudge.
The bottom layer (I'm holding up the vellum) is the retiring paper with the photography look and this is the ocean paper. I dry embossed on the waves with the Seaside embossing folder.
Kraft rope embellishment with a reef knot (yes I was a Girl Scout!).
Done! Easy but I think really pretty.
Happy crafting, MaryKate
Updated edit - to answer questions:
Vellum is 4 x 5 1/4
Island Indigo is the blue cardstock, 4 1/4 x 11 folded in half
Crumb Cake and Island Indigo ink
Stazon ink for the black greeting
Kraft rope is the accessory
Paper is now sold out (if you want anything that is retiring, jump in quick, things go fast).
This is so totally awesome. I think I saved one piece of this paper and will give it a try.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely compliment thank you... you are so talented that it will be more than "a try"! can't wait to see what you create :)
