Cheerful tags Loaf Wrap for an "un-Christmas" present

I love this new Cheerful Tags and Here's to Cheers set – but it’s too early for Christmas!  We made loaf gift bags at my class on Sunday and here's mine in the new 6 x 17 cello bags.

So instead of Christmas ribbon choose 2 contrasting washi tape patterns and put 3 stripes of washi tape on the bag while it’s flat. Put the tape about 2/3 of the way up (so it’s not on the end part that is tied together.  I used Affectionately Yours washi tape and just the green and flowered navy and real red patterns.

Make your tag by using a marker instead of ink and color in the part you want on the tag. I wanted the Scrumptious and the swirls and I used Night of Navy.
After you’ve colored in the part you want stamped, breathe on the stamp to moisten it then stamp.  Ta da… just the scrumptious!   Cut the tag out with the dies and the swirl (I used Emerald Envy).  Put a matching strip of washi on the tag, tie up the loaf (I used the real read twine) and give it away and make someone’s day special.

This really is a fun fast way to wrap a zucchini (or other) loaf – it took me longer to write up this instruction sheet vs make the tag!

Mom's Zucchini loaf is a never fail recipe!
3 eggs, 1 cup veggie oil, 2 1/4 cups sugar, 3 teaspoons vanilla: beat
3 cups flour and 1 teaspoon of salt, baking power, baking soda
3 teaspoons of cinnamon.  Stir the dry ingredients and add the wet.
Add 2 cups of zucchini (drained) to the mixture, and if you wish 1 cup of walnuts.  Put into 2 loaf pans, bake at 350 for 50-60 min until the skewer comes out clean.  Never fail.  Don't half the recipe - give a loaf away :)
