A "flap fold" card with In Bloom with a quick video

Hi all ...  I created a quick video last night click here to see it to make this card.  Dimensions of the patterned paper: 5 1/2 x 12, score on the long side at 4 and 8.

The left photo is closed, middle is open.

Tip: cut the corners off the long pattern paper. Use your trimmer to place the edge of your paper on the edge of your trimmer and then the fold in the gutter. It's easy and the video shows you how. You can measure 1 3/4 from each side and cut to the fold but the trimmer makes it easy :)

The right photo:  You'll see I cut the slit at the front 1" from the fold (bottom of the front of the card) and it's 3" long. I use a post it to make the measurement easy.

My inside is 4 x 5 1/4 and it looks pretty stamped or left white.  I used Thick Basic White to give the card a bit of "heft".

This can be a fun card or an invitation or a gift card holder

I used the free In Bloom paper (free with a $50 order) and my ink is Rococo Rose.  The matching dies are super pretty with a pierced detail to them.

Stamps, dies and paper is all in my online store...but check your stash, this card layout works with just about any floral set (I know you have one!) and any pretty patterned paper.
