Merry Moose Foil Card with the Evergreen Embossing Folder

I think most of you know I live on Great Moose Lake in the summer so when I saw the Moose was returning, you know how happy I was.  In fact I have a Moose punch and stamps in both Maine and my home in Florida!

This Moose card uses 3 pieces of brushed foil in silver, gold and copper. The paper pack comes with 6 sheets (12x12) with 2 of each color.  It's a softer brushed look compared to our foil paper.

Each piece is 1 3/4 x 4 1/8. Cut all 3. Line them up in the embossing folder, and use our new Stampin Cut and Emboss machine (yay it's finally here) and it's lovely!

Adhere these 3 panels on a whisper white base (you can't see it in the photo) 3 3/4 x 5.  Add a folded piece of this Metallic Mesh ribbon (I think it looks like the Moose is walking on our frozen lake).

Stamp the moose in Early Espresso, punch him out and add to the mesh. Add the greeting to a piece 1/2 x 2".  Add this front piece to a card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (I used Peacock but anything would work).  I don't think it needs anything other embellishment -- what do you think?

Lots of moose projects on my blog!

If you type "moose" in the search bar you'll see all kinds of moose projects!

We will create this card in class on Friday Sept 25 or Saturday Sept 26 (same class 2 options) - the whole class will be about fall and foils including specialty paper, these foils and more "shimmery" options! RSVP MaryKate@MaryKateScott.com.

There is an option "to go" and to have the class delivered to your door and to join my Zoom - let me know if this is of interest. Class details on the tab "Workshops...etc"

Happy stamping, MaryKate
