Christmas Tree Punch Gift Card Holders

These are quick to make and a nice way to "pretty up" a gift card.

I used the Christmas Tree punch to create the trees.  The texture on the starburst is made by running the gold paper through the Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing folder.

The paper is the stunning plaid in our Holiday catalog.

I also made some gift card holders in Poppy Parade.

Here's the "how to"

You can make 2 from a single sheet of cardstock.

Your paper is 4 ¼ wide by 9 ¾ long, scored at 1 ¾, 4 ¾, 5 ¾, 6 ¾.

Fold on the score lines and then with your trimmer cut out ¼ x 3 ¾ to make a hole. Or use your classic label punch, punch twice along the inside edge so you have a place for your gift card holder.  Below the hole, secure with tear n tape or liquid glue.

Can you see how the gift card fits in nicely?

Now make a belly band and decorate the front.  A Christmas Tree, a Moose.. so many options!

All these fun punches are in my online store.

Happy gift giving MaryKate
