Leaf Punch Foil Wreath

Sometimes it's great to make a wow intricate card.  This wreath card uses a technique I call the "paper o-ring" technique.

You create a ring by punching a smaller circle (I used the 2" circle punch) and then lining the empty circle into a larger circle punch (I used the 2 1/4" punch) and punch... you have a ring. Can you sit it on the left side of the photo?

You then place the leaves (or anything really) on the ring, covering the entire ring.

It's fun with the leaf punch, sprig punch or your die cuts such as fall leaves.

You put the ring on your silicone mat, put a dob of liquid glue on the mat, and dip the ends of the leaves in glue. Match up the stems. Hide the o-ring.

Now make your card front 5 x 3 3/4, use about 14" of ribbon.  Tie a bow, wrap the left over end of your metallic edged ribbon around the front (secure with either scotch tape or snail), add your bow with a glue dot. Add the front to a silver foil piece 5 1/4 x 4. Add to the card front (8 1/2 x 5 1/2) and add the wreath.  Let it dry a good hour.

Don't forget a greeting!  I embossed mine in silver.

I hope you try it, this card has a wow factor but it's really easy!!
