Peaceful Poppy Double Zee card

A double zee folded card.  Dimensions are below.

A simple card but with the extra zee, I think it has a "pop".  Do you like the matching ribbon? It's the white ribbon with silver edging and I used my Poppy blends pen to color it in.

I love white ribbon as I can make it any color... so I buy white twine, white dotted tulle... and then it instantly matches with my blends.

The poppy element is part of the "elements" pack, click here for details.

What will you stamp on the inside? Do you see this as a birthday card? thank you? maybe a sympathy with the poppies?

Poppy Pocket Card

An easy fun fold card that holds a note or a gift card (or tickets, or other paper items for a pocket).

The front of the card uses one of the die cut Poppy Elements -- or you could stamp on this front piece if you wish.

To make the curved corners of the front of the small whisper white piece, take your 1/2" circle punch and punch out 1/4 of the circle to form this curved edging.  There is also a die that comes with the set that makes this look but punching out the corners is quick and easy.

The one above uses the die - you can just see the edge that is outlined with the die.

If you are wondering where I found green twine.. it's white twine colored with an Old Olive blend.

And the inside of the card with a gift card so you can see size.

Here are all the dimensions

Base: Black 8 ½ x 5 ½ score at 1 1/4 , 6 ½
Front DSP 5 ¼ x 2 ¾
Front lower DSP 5 ¼ x 1
Front décor: Black: 2 ½ x 3 ½, Razzleberry 2 ¼ x 3 ¼, White 2 x 3 (punch corners with ½ circle punch)

Inside white 4 ¾ x 3 ½

All these lovely crafting supplies are in my online store, happy shopping!

Timeless Tulip Basket

How cute is this tulip basket?

It was designed by my friend and team mate Sheryl Knight.

The clover green base is 2 3/4 x 2 3/4, scored at 3/4 on all sides.  Cut up to where the scorelines meet and make a box.

Attach a handle cut 6 x 1/2 - can be plain or fancy like mine (supplied by Sheryl!)

Now add your tulip leaves to the tulips so the leaves are glued at the base.

Add the tulips to the 4 sides of the box.  Add a tulle bow and fill with treats!

I hope you make it!

Peaceful Poppies Designer Paper - Card with a hole

Lots of Poppy Cards coming to you this week!

This one is a design that I've used for a while.  It's my "hole in a card".  I like the idea of looking into the inside of the card.

It's such an easy design.  The base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and you punch a 2 1/4 hole just off to the side, not centered.

You attach 1/2 strip of paper to the front left (that's why the hole is to the right of center).

Stamp on the front. If you wish you can dry emboss the front.  I added some leaves from the Poppy Elements.  Click here if you want more information on these elements.

Now fill in the hole. I used the poppy paper with the very large flowers and cut the flower out with a poppy die for a fun shape. But you could use the circle punch.  Or you can stamp something to peek through the hole.

I also adhered another 1/2 strip of paper on the inside and stamped.

Last fall, I created this "cow" in a hole... I love thinking about what I want to peek through!

Paper Pumpkin Dec 2019 Something for Everyone Kit - available in April 2020

Hi ... I bought a few extra Paper Pumpkin Dec 2019 kits. This kit makes 12 cards, for just about every occasion and I think it's perfect for a beginner stamper.  Super easy to put together.

Here's the kit

And the 3 min video the Stampin UP created.

And here are my first cards.

You know I love to create alternatives... so here is the first card on the left, and then on the right, it's adapted by placing on the gold foil edge cards (that have matching envelopes).  I cut the original card down to 3 3/4 x 5.

So now I have an extra envelope as I cut up the card base for the card (below left) and I thought that could go on the front of a card along with some left over stickers (I love that you get lots of extra things in the kit).

So ... I have a base left over.   I used the base of that card (the one I cut up) as a background layer for the card on the right, do you see it behind the strip (the color is Terracotta Tile)?

And finally I had a little strip of the flowered base left, so I decorated my envelope. See that under the card on the right.

I love to stamp inside the envelope and even on the outside (no more naked envelopes)!

And the green card... I love that it is a masculine look... and made it pretty much as designed but horizontal instead.

This is a fun kit and it is available in my online store. Just click on the shopping card (and don't forget the host code right above the cart).

Paper Pumpkin is a fun easy subscription, you can choose a single month or you can buy it  month-month or buy a 3, 6, or 12 subscription, it's $22-$23 (depending on your subscription).  An easy way to bring creativity into your life.  Flexible... as you can "pause" anytime or simply stop your subscription.
