I made a big pile of swaps last November with this set and just this weekend as I was making swaps for the upcoming new catalog, I thought I'd bring it out again!Such a fun simple card to have on hand. Good for a hello or a thank you, maybe a birthday.
To make this card, cut the base 3 3/4 x 5, stamp three of the "grungy" looking images (I stamped off in Coastal Cabana) then splatter with reinker mixed with water. Add the sequin trim (ugh also retiring) with staples, then the typewriter. Add to the silver foil edged cards (that are not retiring - yay!)
I had one of these typewriters in college and it did tend to splatter ink. I thought the sequin trim reminded me of the old fashioned ribbons we used in these machines.
