Project 2 July 18 Circle Sayings Cupcakes

July 18 Online Class - I have 3 featured cards for you! This is project #2 and the only one that doesn't use the new circle punch. I love the cute cupcakes in this set.

I made a slimline card, and created cute cupcake holders from our designer paper.

Ingredients

 

Base 7 x 8 ½ folded in half

White Front layer 3 x 8

Stamp 5 cupcakes, stamp a greeting on the front layer

Stamp just the cupcake holders on DSP, hand cut these holders, add to the front with dimesionals.

Color in the icing.

If you wish, lightly brush on light blue (pool party) ink around the cupcakes with a blending brush.

Add embellishments

Circle Sayings Class 1 continued with a Simple Smile Card

July 11 Online Class - I have 3 featured cards for you! The first is a shaker card, published Friday, a "back flip" card posted yesterday. Today is a simple smile card.  

Ingredients

 

Base 8 ½ x 5 ½

Front: DSP 5 ¼ x 4, circle, matching ribbon, this paper is from the Bright & Beautiful paper collection.  I love the Lost Lagoon color.

Coloring tools if you wish to color the shells, matching ribbon. I used the Lost Lagoon matching ribbon but I also like the new Pecan Pie ribbon in the 2nd card.

Circle Sayings Back Flip Card Class 1 July 11, 2023

July 11 Online Class - I have 3 featured cards for you! The first is a shaker card, published yesterday. Today is a "back flip" card. I'll post the 3rd card tomorrow.

The cupcake circles were created by Johanna - I love them and they were the inspiration for this card.

The paper is from the Zany Zoo collection.

1.    Lemon Lime Back Flip card  Ingredients

Base 7 ½ x 5 ½ scored at 3 ¼ and 6 ½

DSP 2 pieces 3 x 5 ¼ and 1 piece 3/4 x 5 ¼

White 3 x 5 ¼

Circle for your cupcake (lemon lime is 2 3/8) and the inner circle is 2"

Matching twine (In Color from the 2021-2023 twine set)

Circle Sayings: A Shaker Card

July 11 - I have 3 featured cards for you! The first is a shaker card - I'll post the 2 other cards, tomorrow and the following day!

Ingredients for this card

Base 8 ½ x 5 ½ folded I used Berry Burst

Front:  DSP 3 x 4, Cardstock 4 ¼ x 3 ¼, Greeting 5/8 x 3”, acetate 2 ¾ x 2 ¾, foam strip

Inside:  1 white and 3 colored cardstock 3 x 4 ¼, extra DSP 3 x 1, white circle 2 3/8

This inside pocket can hold a gift card

Matching ribbon about 10"

IDEAS Blog Hop Celebrating Holidays

Hello and welcome to the IDEAS Blog Hop for July 2023 - featuring cards that celebrate holidays. It could be family celebrations, Christmas, travel anything "holiday". As you hop you'll see Santa meets the Easter Bunny, packs a bag for a seaside holiday, celebrates New Years, has a birthday and ends up at a Taco Fiesta (and more).. it's a fun theme of family holidays!

We have a range of projects from easy and fun for new stampers or more detailed designs for an avid crafter.  Each tutorial includes 1-2 projects for cards and a 3D item.

This month we have curated tutorials from 14 international Demonstrators with a 75 page full color tutorial bundle for you, featuring colorful cards.  You will get 14 detailed tutorials with a range of projects.  The tutorials have detailed instructions in imperial (aka inches!) and metric.

I used some annual catalog paper Magnificantly Made with the "b" side to make a wreath card using Layering Leaves.  I made a matching no-adhesive box to match.  Inside the wreath card are my Christmas greetings.

All the details, how-to, dimensions and tips are in my tutorial. Lots of photos and diagrams to make it easy to follow along.    A super fun suite of projects!
