Update on Classes for Mid June 2021

Hello crafters!!

We have a new updated class schedule.  There was a bit of delay in creating the class list given supplies were on backorder.

Online Tuesdays will continue with June 22 and June 29 6-730pm with the Hand-Penned paper.  You can use sentiments you own, or the Hand-Penned set (so pretty).  Your packet will include a 1/4 share of the paper, so 6 sheets of 12 x 2 paper, ribbon for projects, card bases, die cuts and matching ribbon.  Total 12 cards (6 designs, 2 of each) over 2 classes.    

Front porch pickup (or nearby drop) is $15, contact me for shipping (which you can combine with others.  If you would like the Hand-Penned stamp set or dies, add $20 for the set (yes you get a discount when you buy the project packet) or add $40 for the stamps and dies (again a discount!)

Saturday June 19 2-4 is Art Gallery at my home in Hartland! (woohoo!)  6 cards, gold leafing techniques, fun acetate overlays, foils, shimmer ribbon, big stunning flowers and greetings.  $15.  You can use my stamps and dies, or add $45 for the bundle of stamps and dies.

IDEAS Blog Hop June 2021 Color Me Happy

 

 

Welcome to our IDEAS blog hop for June 2021. Happiest of Birthdays Pop Open Card in several sizes

 This is a pop open card that is much easier to see with the video.  Click here for the video.

I made my card 8 x 8 with the pattern paper 3 1/2  x 3 1/2, the smaller one was made 6 x 6 with 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 pieces. So long as you have a square you will be fine!

Scoring: score the 8 x 8 at 4" turn it 90 degree and score again 4" and then score along the diagonal.  Now make a last score line (parallel to the diagonal) through 1 of the squares.

Tip... make sure you stamp on the diagonal, with the paper on the diagonal (you'll see my blooper in the video!)

Super easy - make lots!

Winners of the In Color Challenge and Lots of Pansy Card ideas

We have a fun, creative team. Every so often I give them a challenge... this one was to use the new in colors along with the new Pansy paper (which has many of the new in colors).  From a random drawing I chose 3 winners who have bling coming to their mailbox. I used the You Are Amazing set with the kit to make them cards and decorate their prize.

I have to confess I got mixed up and thought it was "fast and furious" as a theme! So there I was creating my designer paper in new in-colors with fast and furious stamping :)
